Toothache? Let the pain go away through reflexology

The other day, my 18-year old niece ran up to me and said: “Aunt Camila, my toothache has been bugging me since this morning.”

I held her hand, and with a smile, I replied: “Don’t worry, girl. I can help you with that.”

In a matter of an hour, her pain surrendered to the effects of reflexology I did on her.

When you have a toothache you usually head to the drugstore to buy pain killers. This could be helpful. However, there are days when a toothache over powers any drug medication. This makes you take more and more pain killers, which can be detrimental to your health. When the pain persists for more than a day, the best thing to do is to visit the dentist’s clinic. For the meantime, when there’s no way of reaching to your doctor, reflexology may be able to help alleviate or reduce the pain.

How does the method work? A professional reflexologist, like me, finds the point on the patient's hand or feet that needs attention to. The process begins by applying gentle pressure to that point and followed by a moment of rest. Then the reflexologist starts to work on that spot with a rhythmic pattern until the pain subsides.
